Telescene Productions

Mediocre to being Competent

We're going live in 3, 2, 1..........

From being an Audioman for Baliktanaw, our pilot episode.

I was one of the people who wrote the treatment for this show and little did I know that it was the chosen show for our production team. It was a real struggle for the production design, it was so nerve wrecking. The airing was cancelled, got cancelled and continue to be cancelled because of unending class suspensions. As the time pass by, things got worse. I was losing hope for this show, we aired without a full run through. We got a score of 89, which motivated us to do our best the next production.

From being an Assistant Director for Victus.

Having all the setbacks, negativeness for pushing through the story of "Regine Zamora". This show proves to me that we're really a team here. There are people that are willing to sacrifice for the team so why not STAND and fight for the SHOW. I didn't went to Nueva Ecija but I didn't heard them complained for it. I really find this show satisfying, the production team gave JUSTICE to Ate Regine's Life Story! 96 for this show! And one nomination!

From being a Playback Operator for Tiger Sports.
I was challenge and pressured by my sickness and post. I can't give my full attention to what I'm doing since I'm literally hot, it was also the first time I have to take care of my sick self since I'm far from home. But since my position was crucial, I gave everything I can even if I was coping with my sickness. My heart and head was throbbing so hard I couldn't take it. One of the segments' audio malfunctioned and I don't know if it's with the technical or the video itself, it was deducted on my grade but I'm still this happy is cause the production team appreciated what I've done, "hindi ka inaabutan ng black, ang galing mo Cath!".  At para sa akin yun lang ang importantey! :D We got a grade of 95 for the show! A challenging show for noob sports people. I only know UAAP Men's Basketball <3! HAHAHA! But Ma'am Faye appreciated all the efforts that has been put through the show and that we got a total of 3 nominations!

Best Talent, Best Technical Director and Best Director.

From being a Segment Producer for Investigatom.

Hurray for making things happen. For conversing and setting appointments. For having to meet Mayor Lim and be tweeted on his account. For having to make sure the segment is well "SEGMENTED" for editing. For having to meet Manila City Engineer and DPWH Special Projects Head. For meeting the deadline, for going to school without any assurance that I will be shooting a segment. For all the stress the came my way during that week. I'm glad I was able to sacrifice something for the benefit of my production team. 92 for this production.

And for my last post,

From being a Cameraman for Tomatravel goes to Vigan.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2012

The big day for Telescene Productions! The day when we said goodbye to our TV production class, the day when I bid farewell to the Edtech people since I'm not a TOMCAT MEMBER, the day when we bid farewell to paying gazillion, bazillion of expenses, the day when we gave it all our best and it did paid off! The day when we scream all our joyful hearts!

The day when we cried and wept for the perfect score that we never expected.

While we're on that momentum, praying, crying and thanking God, all I can think was that we're never the dream team, many of us are inexperienced.  The TV positions are all new to me! Really can't comprehend. Clueless much. I was a mediocre, I always say that it's just fine to get an average score and that we're going to get through a particular show without much effort. But I was wrong. I can't imagine myself working with other production teams than with my Telescene people. I bet, I really wouldn't enjoy TV prod this much if I weren't part of this smaller family from 3CA4.

DISCLAIMER: Tittle cards belongs to their respective production house. Some photos aren't mine, grabbed from Ervin and Kim.
